How come my graphic card doesn't run good?

I look up all these reviews of my graphic card Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card ( 100326DDR3L )
And these people say they can run these games on high settings like diablo 3. I can't even play diablo 3 on low settings and run it smoothly. Might I add I have the latest drivers.

    I have 4gb ram
    AMD FX(tm)-4100 quad-core processor 3.60 GigaHert processor
    1tb hard drive
    and a 500 watt PSU

Any suggestions? I've only had it for about a month and a half now maybe.

and just to add on, YES I did plug my monitor into the gpu and not the motherboard.

Perhaps the processor is a bottleneck.

IMO don't look at one or two reviews on Newegg as a comparative especially if they aren't listing their full specs, settings or even saying at what FPS they were running. Just because a random user says he could (or even couldn't) play it that doesn't mean at what level.

Now that said, you shouldn't have issues with that setup running on at least medium settings and the card itself should be able to play it at fairly high settings. Is it only Diablo 3 that you see issues with?

What resolution are you trying to play the game at? Also, what are the framerates you have been getting? (And how do you have the game before its released?)

On Blizzards site, they list the 6770 as only being able to play the game smoothly on medium settings, and the 6770 is about 15-20% faster than the 6670, so I don't know why people are saying it can play the game on high settings.

The 6670 really isn't that fast of a gaming card.

Though it's not the fastest out there, a 3.6ghz FX is fine for the game, especially if on lower settings. The 6670 should also be just fine on low settings.

Have you tried to reinstall the drivers? Have you run FRAPS, to confirm the actual FPS you are getting?
