    Intel(R) G45"G43 Express Chipset

    Hey,

I'm currently using an Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset and looking to upgrade for gaming purposes.

    My computer specs.

    Manufacturer: HP company
    Model: 200-5250 all in one
    Processor: Pentium R Dual-Core CPU E5500 @ 2.80 GHz 2.80 Ghz
    Ram: 4.00
    64 bit operating system

Not too concerned on budget, but just looking at anything that could work?

Being that this in an HP all-in-one machine there really isn't much you can do upgrade wise. You don't have any options for expansion slots. the ones that are there are Two PCI Express x1 minicard sockets which AFAIK wouldn't allow for a GPU to be added in.

Nope, sadly All-in-one machines aren't meant to be upgraded in this fashion. Even if you could add in something I doubt you'd get much gaming performance.

I see there is an MXM graphics slot, which is basically the same as a laptop GPU. That might be upgraded but you'd have a hard time finding a card to go in there.

Lame, stupid all in one computer haha.
so this mxm graphics slot could in theory upgrade it a little bit? just be a matter of finding one? which would be difficult?

Only game it would be for would be diablo 3...not sure how intense that'll be...

Well for something like diablo 3 you'll need a pretty decent card to run it at even reasonable settings. You can find MXM cards on eBay, the problem is first finding out the exact version of MXM. They have a few different types. The second is getting a card powerful enough to make a major difference and that is likely to cost a few hundred dollars.

even if you found a compatible MXM card it won't be a very high end card to run the game effectively (as in playable), very few if any All in One systems have anything more than a $50 range video chip in them. (At least from what I have seen in recent years)

If this indeed is the model you have, you don't even have that MXM slot that Rich mentioned above, so its basically a no go either way:

Looks like the "Business" versions of these All in Ones lack the MXM slot and the more home consumer All in Ones like the Omni Series have the slot.

Even if you did have that slot, not only would you have to track down a compatible MXM card, but this is the process involved with installing one.

    Upgrade

I have the same issue, but I'm running
    Acer Aspire Z5600
    Pentium Dual-Core E5500 @2.80GHz
    RAM 6.00GB, 64bit
    (Touchscreen)
Anything I could upgrade with? I also would like to play Diablo3, not to mention Dragon Age2.
    Thanks
