    What type of card do I need??

     
    Hello! I have a HP Pavilion Elite M9250F computer. Specs say that it has a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics card,

    I need to replace it with a new graphics card, when looking on amazon, what type of card do I need to look for? Are there only certain types of cards that will fit in my PC? When searching on amazon what should I search for?

    According to the specs it has a PCI Express x16 slot so you can grab one of those. Depending on how powerful of a card you are wanting to add in you might also need to upgrade the power supply.

    Are you just going to go with a basic replacement or are you going to go with an upgraded more powerful card for gaming?
