TDR Errors Radeon HD 6790
I recently bought a shelf computer, upgraded the power supply, and added a graphics card.
All was well for a couple weeks then I started getting TDR errors. My screen would either completely freeze, or the computer would just crash.
Most of the time this happens when I am in a web browser (reddit/youtube/etc). I've never had it crash if I ONLY have a game open (wow/diablo/sc2).
Getting a completely new graphics card (radeon 6670-> radeon 6790)
Running a memory test
Monitoring temperature (w/ furmark)
Completely uninstalling/reinstalling drivers (w/ driversweeper).
Tried different browsers (chrome/firefox) and reinstalled them
Reinstalled flash (read somewere that this can cause TDR errors)
After upgrading to a new card it worked well for a week (could use a browser jsut fine) then it started again.
Intel i5 -2320 CPU 3.00 GHz
8 GB Ram
Win 7 64 bit Home premium sp1
I'm happy to run down any info you need to help. I've just run out of ideas to fix this problem. Thank you in advance for any help provided.
