    Hello and welcome to TechIMO!

This said, that screenshot is your typical sign of artifacting / overheating.

You mentioned a pic of the temps, but all I saw was 70*c - but it didn't say of what?

Run "HWmonitor" (free download) and advise us of the gpu temperatures during and while playing as well as the cpu temps in the same scenario.

Also "A AMD P X4" do you mean Amd Phenom X4? If so, as above, what temps is it displaying?

Have you cleaned out the dust in the case yet?

And lastly and very importantly, what power supply are you running?

We will need the make/model of the PSU, as well as the amps on the +12v rail (you will need to open up the case and physically check the sticker on the power supply to confirm, but if you have a link to the model it may display it as well)
    Main PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit
    File Server: AMD Opteron 180 / 3gb DDR400 / Nvidia 6200 / WinXP Home 32bit / Lubuntu 12.10
    Laptop: HP-Compaq nc8430/ Intel CoreDuo T2400 / 2gb DDR2 667/ Ati x1600 / WinXP Pro 32bit

    Thanks for the pics.

The temperatures are well within normal range, so assuming the readings are accurate that should not be a problem at all.

Now, what has me concerned is your power supply. Though I don't always trust software for power supply readings, they are generally reliable enough to get an estimate.

Two problems - A) You +12v rail is running out of spec, and moreso B) when gaming it drops into very unstable range.

Even under hours of gaming, any quality power supply shouldn't fluctuate that much, especially a '600w' one that is overkill for the system.

Try to get the info including brand, model and +12v rail listed on the psu sticker asap.

Is there another card you can test in there, or more ideal, another pc you can test your card in?

Yea, Logisys is a brand, and unfortunately one known for very low quality power supplies. In all reality with the one's I've seen from that company there claimed wattage is well over estimated and they are known for failure.

So judging from the pic and the known reliability of those psu's I'd try to swap it out asap, or simply not game on it in the mean time.

Now don't get me wrong, it could also be the video card, but that power supply needs to be swapped out as well, those +12v rail specs are wayyyyy off and unstable.

No problem at all. Before spending hard earned money on one, I also suggest you read over this - Power Supply Info

Though a bit dated it will prove invaluable to you when making your purchase.
