Could someone help me with identifying the graphic card slot?
I am completely clueless when it comes to hardware, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of graphic card slot is this?

Welcome to TechIMO!
The big one is a PCI-e 16X slot, and the 3 little ones, are PCI-e 1X slots.
What revision it is, I can't tell from a pic. 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 Maybe 1.0, because, I don't see a lock.
Some 16X slots are only 8X or 4X electrically. (Yes, it sounds stupid)
Being the first and only one, more than likely it is X16 electrically.
If you give us the brand and model number, we can find out more.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

You will have to more specific.
The number should be stenciled on the board, itself.
Another board I found in that series has a number like this.

I was just hoping to get some advice on how I should go about on upgrading my graphics card (cause right now its a measly integrated one).
Right now the power supply I have in there is 250W and theres that wretched radeon HD 4200, so I was trying to make sure that I find a card that will fit my motherboard :O

Got it
Motherboard Specifications, H-RS880-uATX (Aloe) HP Pavilion p6520f Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)
It is a PCI-e X16 ver2.0
Is that all you need, or are you upgrading the graphics card?Hard Sayin Not Knowin

Thank you so much!!!

And would you happen to have any advice on what I could do to improve my graphics card (mostly for gaming, but I don't really need a super super super good graphics setup)? I want to be able to run games that came out a year or two ago smoothly on decent settings :O but I don't really mind if it can't run games like Skyrim or Crysis 2 (newer games) smoothly on default settings

Any PCI-e 1.0, 2.0, or even 3.0 should work.
1.0 slots with a newer card can be a problem occasionally, thats why I asked.
IMO, anything worth upgrading to, would need a 400watt power supply.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

Last question: does this graphics card decent as long as I find a psu suitable for it?

I,m not a gamer, although I have a pretty good Idea of what is needed.
I only Flight Sim.
Our gamers are excellent, and should pipe in later.
They will also be able to tell, how good of a video card you can get before the CPU is bottlenecked, because you are close to that, but I,m never sure when you are that close.
If you give me a budget, I can probably give you a pretty good idea, because i can pick by price.
With video cards, price goes pretty exactly with performance.
A brand name power 400w supply (the only kind we recommend) should be about $50Hard Sayin Not Knowin

It is last generation, and it was a step above what I consider the lowest high performance gaming card, the HD6770.
That will need a 500watt power supply.
I haven't looked in a while, but that sounds like good price.
AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 6850 graphics
Cheapest 500w I can recommend.
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS500-PCARD3-US 500W ATX12V v2.3 Power Supply
If you wait for the gamers, they can tell you much more.
This will give you a ballpark idea, as it is only close, and I would look further if the 2 card are right next to each other, but for the big picture, it is just fine.

Alright thanks for your time

Btw, is this psu any good? Ultra Limited Edition 550W Power Supply - ATX, Dual +12V Rail, Ultra Silent, Limited Edition, Lifetime Warranty with Registration at TigerDirect.com
I don't know if it's really that bad for it to be $11 dollars (on sale of course) or is it just a very good deal right now?

According to Passmark, it is 30% better than a 6770.?

I guess my memory is failing.

Oh alright, which would be the quality brand names for these? :O

Find one off our good list.
As you will see, Ultra is on our bad list.
$40 with free shipping is amazing, you are not going to do much better, unless it is junk.
You are buying a quality Video Card, why would you skimp, on the most important part of the computer.

Antec - 450-Watt Power Supply - VP450
Newegg.com - XFX CORE Edition FX-777A-ZNF4 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
6850 is fine, the 7770 is similar in performance, uses less power, and should be cooler running.
otherwise from Newegg, that Coolermaster PSU is fine (both the Antec on Best Buy and CM on Newegg, have the same Wattage rating for the +12V Rail, which is the important one out of the 3 Rails on a PSU).i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Same price.
That's why the 6850 dropped a little.
To say the least, Shyguy is a gamer.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

glitching at 91+C Temps, while overclocking... then back off on the overclock, and see if it stables the card. usually thats a sign you've hit a wall with OCing on the card. might need to play...
