Upgrading CPU for Gaming, Need Advice

Hi All,

Below is the configuration of my PC.

Please advice the appropiate changes I should make in SPU, RAM & Additional Graphic Card

1) Motherboard Gigabytes GA-G31M-S2L
2) RAM - 2 GB
3) Hard Disk :- 570 GB (250 +320) in built ( Additional 2 TB External HD extra)
4) Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ
5) SPU- Dont Know

I would like to play games like Max Payne. , Call of duty MWF etc.
Please advice good GPU which will support ,my mother board & processor to play those games.

Also possible please advice the appx cost as well.
As I said I want to change SPU, Additional RAM, 1 GPU however if your recommend me to change anything else please advise. But preferably I am looking to change the ones which I have mentioned. If possible advise with various alternates. Thank you all for your extended support for all the users.

No one is there to help.. Although I agree I am new to here.. However I am not a layman.. there are lot many website available to improve the knowledge base but bcaouse you people are using you would be the best of folks to let me aware wid reality.
