Which vid card should i get?
i have pretty much singled down my options to these two cards. but which one should i get?

i may be wrong (probably am) but i thought that ati didnt have very good driver support and/or didnt work well with winxp. ???

They may have had a little problems in the past with drivers, but now the CATALYSTS are out and they rock. I acually have had no problems with any of the drivers that i used for my ATI cards, i was happy with the ones that cam on the CD with card. I am using a 8500,7500,7200 in all winxp machines and I have no problems. also here is a link to an 8500 for 91 bucks free shipping

have you checked their reseller ratings? looking at that, i would NEVER buy from them... but hey... its your money. likewise, i would never buy from the people E-Z-Eroc mentioned either... their reseller ratings mentions complaints with the BBB... not a good sign... might want to try to find a better reseller

Definatly get a GF3 instead of the GF2... the GF3 gpu had a lot of new features that aren't in the GF2
