    Leadtex Nvidia GTX 550 TI problem >_<

     
    Hey guys..I have encouter some problem with my new card..Just bought it 3 days ago and it work nicely for an hour..After that,it keep crashing and shutdown by itself..my psu also blowing up a few days ago..But today it shows some weird error.. GTX 550 Ti Error - YouTube . As u can see,after some crash occur,the graphic started being weird and it seem like its stop working.. I tried to unistall and clean it using driver sweeper and etc but it didnt work..Does this mean my card were offically broken?

    Processor: AMD Phenom II X3 710 2.61 GHz
    Ram : 4gb DDR2 Kingston (2gbx2piece)
    Graphic : Leadtex Nvidia GTX550 Ti 1gb
    Monitor : Acer V203H
    Power Supply: Exploit Model:ATX-500w
    Mobo : Asus m2n68-am plus

    Having glitches on post is definitely either the card or the slot. I had an 8600GT a few years back that did the same thing (glitches on post, disabled card in the device manager). I put another card in the slot and while it didn't act up in the same way, it still acted up. I moved to the second slot and it was fine. Since your board has only 1 pcie slot for graphics, I would be either trying to test another card in the slot, or that card in another machine. But I'm almost 100% certain that the board or the card is the problem (most likely the card).

    Yea,the old card work perfectly for me.Tested on my bro pc and yea,the card still being the same.Probaly my card problem.Any idea how to fix it?? or should i exchange it for a new one?

    Exchange. You'd need a logic probe and spec details to even locate the problem, much less fix it. Usually glitches like that are related to the vram.

    Was thinking on Sapphire 7750 or GT 640...which one is better?or do u have any suggestion?

    640 can't even compete with the 7750.

    your 550 Ti would even beat the 640.

    Radeon 7770's have come down in price, can now get them for roughly what the 7750 initially went for, if you can afford one, I'd recommend the 7770 instead.
