I'd agree with AuraEdge.
If you wanna save a little dough, get an Radeon8500.
But if you wanna test the bounds of your budget- go with the Abit GF4 4200Ti.
Don't go with an GF4MX-- they're just gussied up GF2's...

you can pick up a PNY GeForce4 4200 at frys for 160 after rebate. I have one non-overclocked and it gets 8200 in 3Dmark, my friend has his overclocked to 4600 speeds, same model and brand. The lifetime replacement warranty is awesome too. |

I assume you want it for gaming. A lot of the considerations above don't really apply if you want it for video editing. |

If you can get a full speed Radeon 8500 with 128 mb RAM, go for it. It outpaces a GeForce 4 TI 4200 by a little bit. | |
