| I need help fast!!!!
Hello all.
My friend has a Samsung 900S monitor, and I can't get anything to display on it. I've tried three different video cards, one ISA, one Trident PCI, and one integrated on an IBM motherboard. But nothing shows on the screen and the power light just flashes on and off. If I disconnect the signal cord the "bouncing nox" on the monitor comes up and says, "No Connection, Check Signal Cable" so I'm quessing the monitor should be OK.
But, why won't it display anything on it? It won't show BIOS or anything.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Thanks, David |

The cable does not have any pins bent. I can't change the signal cable. |

no I'm going to try a different monitor. No, the display output worked just two days ago. No, the PC doesn't beep, but I've reseated the RAM, unplugged all the hard drives and CD-ROM but still no joy. |

Do you get any lights on the PC at all? Any beeps? Any noises?
Might be any number of things - RAM, PS, CPU, mobo, etc, etc.
Keep posting detailed info about what happens on starting the PC - FDD light, keyboard lights, etc.
Also some details about PC - CPU, RMA, mobo, drives would help.
Hope we can help ya!
Cheers

Is the monitor getting power? Stupid of me to ask but are j00 sure its getting poweeer to it?
Is it running of mains or the PSU? If on PSU try changing it to mains. If you dont have the correct wires maybe a differant PSU?!
apart from that turn up the birghtness
