Is there a difference in quality?
I have a samsung 172-T (it has DVI and Analog port) and my video card is an ABIT Siluro Gforce 4 MXPro. Is there really a difference in quality when it comes to connecting via DVI or Analog? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I would say it's pretty clear. DVI is Digital, Analog is, well, analog.
The digital is going to give you a better picture by far. The real test would be you try both and then decide which you like best. I think it's going to be personal preference.

DVI-D will give you a fully optimized fully adjusted and clear of any interruptions (picture wise) with no settings.
Seems pretty CLEAR to me which is best.

EvilRick,
Do you know if the Abit Siluro Gforce 4MXPRO has a TV tuner built into it. I can't seem to figure out if it has one built in or not. Do you know? |

If it has a TV tuner built in, wouldn't there be a place for the TV Coax to plug in to?

I think you're referring to "TV Out" Which, if you're talking about the GeForce4 MX460 Pro, pictured here , then yes, it has Stereo-video TV Out. |

No it does not have a coax input interface in it. So I take it that the video card does not have a TV tuner. I should have just bought the ATI ALL IN WONDER 8500. |
