| Pulling my hair out, again
Did a wipe and re-install of 98 on my K7S5A Ver 1 board.
Went to load the mobo agp driver from the cd, put it in the drive and it rocked.
Looked at the cd and it's warped, and I mean warped as it's got to be 1/8 from end to end. It's a new one to me, never seen a "warped" disk before.
I've poured through ECS site with no lluck
Any one have an idea how to install the AGP drivers without havig the acutall install cd. Nothig at ECS |

Anyone have any suggestions.
I can call tech support, I have a feeling there probably going to charge me for another CD, and of course theres the waiting period.
With the popularity of this board perhaps one of the forum members can email me the setup utility?

Just to to Sis's website and you'll find drivers there. |

He needs the SIS 735 (v1) drivers... for whatever reason, 735's arent listed at the ECS website (atleast, not where I could find). 730's are, but not 735.
I believe the link I provided are for the 735's.
GoodLuck! |

Thanks Mortis, the site you linked for me had the drivers and the utility. I'm a happy camper again.
fyxxer and Dj
I had already downloaded those yesterday.
The problem is that they only supply you with the 3 files, those being the actual system files, no way to (simply) install them. For whatever reason they left out the install utility.
Makes no sence to me. The three files would be fine if I wanted to do a driver update but thats it.
Fortunatly for me Mortis had a link to the site to get both the files AND the install utility. Much appreciation for that.
You really have to wonder why I had to go to the AMPTRON SITE to get ECS drivers and utilities.

| Could be because ECS, Amptron, and PCchips are all the same company?
Actually, I'm running a PCchips 599LMR motherboard with a 550 K6-2 on an Amptron bios flash with Amptron drivers because it's a lot easier to find and download the files on the Amptron site
