fuzzy secondary monitor
I just installed two Radeon 7500 display adaptor and ATI display drivers on two machines. Each system is configured to use two monitors. The secondary monitor will not achieve proper focus-it stays fuzzy. When the secondary is switched to the primary, it works fine. The same problem exists on both machines. I tried all the settings I could find. Am I missing something? My local computer tech. was not helpful. Please help, I am getting nauseous. Bob
Changing the refresh rates does not help. That changes the primary monitor also, and makes it worse. I believe the port on the video card in question is a digital ouput (?).

if im right in thinking this is the card with the video splitter cable it could be that there is a fault on the 2nd output line, I am inclined to think this with fact that the fault stays on 2nd output line when you swap monitors. Would suggest contacting store you bought it or ATI tech supp. But before doing that double check you have no weird settings in your adapter properties (cant remember anything in ATI radeon settings that would cause that though)

Just how fuzzy is the secondary monitor?
If it's "slightly" fuzzy, it may be caused by a refresh rate that is at the upper end of the monitors capability.
If the video amplifier isn't up to the task of turning the electron beam on and off fast enough (as occasionally is the case) the display will lack clarity. This is most noticeable at high resolutions with small text.
Check the advanced display properties, adapter, and select a refresh rate well below "optimal" as a test.
