    GeForce4 Ti4400 S-video TV out problems

Okay, here's the deal; I have TV-out displaying correctly from my computer to my TV via an S-video cable. I can clone, span, etc. What I'm having trouble with is displaying video on my TV. I set my TV to be the primary display so overlay will work, and the video looks fine as long as I don't set my player to be full-screen. However, as soon as I set it to be full screen, it looks like crap. I can't really explain it, kind ghosted, or like the scanlines are offset from one to the next. This happens in both Windows Media Player and ZoomPlayer (my two primary players). Has anyone else had this trouble before?

My video card is a Leadtek Winfast GF4 Ti4400 and I'm running NVIDIA's 41.09 Detonator drivers for Windows XP. I have an Athlon XP 2000+ and 512MB of RAM. That should be all the critical data.

    Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

    I have the same problem.

I have now installed the latest detonator drivers from Nvidia.
    (version 44.03)

I can run TV-out in the modes that worked earlier.
    640x480 800x600 1024x768
(and a new 7something mode that doesnt display)

Earlier it also worked adjusting screen size
(under Device Adjustment --> Screen Size)
And choose the specialized DVD mode in all of these resolutions. Now after the new driver (44.03) is installed
the DVD-mode wont work in 800x600. It works in all other
modes as earlier but it is the 800x600 DVD mode I want.

I have 2gig AMD XP. with 768mbyte ram and I am running w2k proffesional.

TV issue : GEFORCE 4 MX

    Hi,

I am having hard times with my laptop TV-out plug. It's a S-Video plug.

I experienced your issue : I fixed it cloning my laptop screen, then setting TV screen to be the primary display. It worked fine a few months ago. I canno't enable the TV-out plug since about 4 months and I always have trouble enabling it.

In fact, it worked when it want. I couldn't know why it was locking the TV plug in some way.

Has someone heard about such a problem ?
    Does anyone knows a turn-around ?

    lerouxa
