Voodoo5 Linux drivers
I am looking for any working Voodoo 5 linux drivers on mandrake 8. I havent been able to find any . Thanks for any help ahead of time.

DO NOT use the files below unless you have an older distribution (Red Hat =< 6.1, Mandrake =< 6.x, SuSE =<7.x )
taken from linuxvoodoo. I have tried these drivers already and they gave an error about finding the /usr/bin/redhat or something along that line. Also I am running mandrake 8, with glibc 2.96, not approved for installation as seen in the above warning by the drivers. any ideas?

i would grab the source code and compile it myself - the should take care of distro dependent issues. , andthiner good place to check is www.evil3d.net - they have lots of good info.Odds are very good there are several spelling mistakes in this post.
