Nope.. You heard me right.! We have already seen how the 9800 pro whips Nvidias arse. !!
I'm looking forward to the 9600 Pro because it's going to be the direct competitor to Nvidia's GeForce FX 5600 Ultra (and already the 9500 Pro performs better than that Ultra card). When that card it's released, the prices for the Radeon 9500 Pro will go down and the performance difference between the 9600 Pro and 9500 Pro will be very little because of the differences in the arquitechture (the 9500 Pro has 8 pipelines and the 9600 Pro has 4 but it has a higher clock speed -- though... high clock speeds doesn't mean it will separate a whole lot from the 9500 Pro because of the -4 pipelines it has.! ).

In Tomshardwares review the Ti4800 beats the 9500 pro card.

it looks like ati is dominating: 9700 pro kills ti4600, 9800 pro kills the highest fx, 9500 pro kills 4400 and 4200, and the 9600 pro will most likely be somewhere in between a 4400 and 4600, prolly closer to the 4600

I am going for an ATI next time. I am hearing of a recall from BestBuy on certain chipsets from NVivdia. Mainly the GF2 MX400 .. faulty voltage limiter.

I'm not impressed with my 5600 ultra.

I can't even run it at it's supposed stock speed of 400gpu/800mem without getting all "garbled". The fastest stable speed is 370/802.

Stay away from Leadtek when looking for a video card.

i should make a living taking all these nvidia cards off your guys hands for free, and resell them to someone who only does word processing
    I don't like signatures.

    ati or nvidia.... who cares.

the point of the matter is: whichever makes the fastest videocards... OWNS.

and at the moment, ATI is winning. so naturally i have ati in my system.

i have no brand loyalties, because who cares... the ceos dont know me and could care less about me (they have no customer loyalty, why should i have brand loyalty?).... so... ati vs nvidia... who cares.... may the best videocard maker win.

    go 9800 pro!!!
