    Darn V-Sync

    ok... here is the problem...
I am gettin only 60 fps in CS... and i disabled the v-sync like yall told me... but now i am getting 100 fps... but the screen is pretty choppy... so my thinking is this
    1) refresh rates are not constant
    2) monitor can't handle the fps
    3) card is overclocked too high and getting fragments

1 and 2 are your problems. You will need to bump your 3D refresh rate with RivaTuner to the maximum value supported by your monitor for each resolution to minimize screen tearing.
