Our office purchased a Gateway Media Center system for presentations. It has a 42" Plasma display capable of upto 1280x1024 at 75hz. It running on a Nvidia GeForce MX440 128mb card. This system out of the box has a horrible display and no matter what I change in the way of resolution settings, referesh rates, and dpi screen fonts it still looks bad. Gateway offers no "monitor driver" for the Plasma screen as well.
Has anyone ran into this or has any idea on how to make the Nvidia card know that a 16:9 format screen is connected to it?
I have and that solves for the most part but it only uses half of the screen. The hardware is capable of the 16:9 format and I want to use it to the full effect.
