TV Out & Memory With the Video card

ok i have a Geforce 4 MX440se 64mb AGP card and with a tv out and my problem is when i connect the tvout to the tv it shows but when i play videos on my pc its comes up black on tv inside the media player. y is this. and also im wonding if i connect the tv out to tv, will it drain my video card memory.?

You're running cloned display, the TV showing a copy of the computer monitor?
Then you can see a video overlay only on either - that's because they aren't cloneable like this.
You need to activate the card driver's TV video mode that just copies the overlay to the TV, in fullscreen view. Dunno what it's called with NVidia drivers; ATi call it Theater Mode, Matrox sez DVD-Max.

yes i have it clone and i see 1 & 2, 1 is my monitor and 2 is the Tv but no video if i play it.
