    Unhappy Geforce 2 Ti problems...HELP!!

     
    hey i got a geforce 2 ti, never used. and when i play any 3d game like jedi knight 2, the video cracks up and shakes liek crazy and i cant even see anything thats going on. only in games though, and its got the latest everything. i dont know what else to do. im ready to trash it. and ive tryed 16 bit color and lower and higher res and still no luck. plllllllllllz help.

    You say it's got the latest everything - do you mean drivers?

    Make sure your motherboard drivers and video drivers are all up to date.

    i have an abit sa7 mboard and its updated and so is the video card. i dled the driver from nvidia. yeah the dirvers......sorry

    is the card overclocked at all? if it is, that oculd easily cause the problem. otherwise the memory on the card might be failing.

    I have seen this with overclocking on my GF4.

    how do you un-overclock it???

    to unoverclock your gf2:

    right click on desk and then properties/settings/advanced

    then click on the tab that states what vid card you have.

    then,if its enabled,click on clock frequencies.

    click on default button, that should take you back to "stock" speeds.

    reboot,i think


    if your card isnt overclocked,you wont see a clock frequency tab anywhere.

    ok, yeah there wasnt any clock tab...but is there any other ideas of wahts wrong with my card?
