The reason I am asking this question is I would like to be able to play a game on one monitor and do something else on the other.

Browse the web, chat, do work,etc. Is this possible and what sort of hardware software would I need?

I have the duel setup. The first thing to note is not all games will play the same with duels.

Shadowbane is great because I can move the mouse between the screens and still keep playing. On the other hand WC3 "locks" the mouse into its gaming screen and will not let it out.

So it may not work for all the games out there.

XP has duel monitor support built in and the Nvidia drivers has some extra features in there drivers that make it easy to work.

You can either get a card with 2 video outs or like me - 1AGP card and 1PCI.
