    What are "Color Profiles"?

     
    Just what are the color profiles associated with the monitor??

    Some manufacturers release custom color profiles to enable better color saturation, brightness, contrast, warmth, etc. for specific monitors. Most monitors have no need color profiling, though I have seen the occasional model that honestly did not look "right" until the proper profile was loaded.

    If your monitor did not ship with a profile on the driver CD, then you probably do not need to worry about this feature.

    It didn't ship with a CD!
