monitor repair?
i just had a 21" monitor given to me a few days back, as is, well i just got around to testing it and nada...it powers on fine, detects a signal but the screen just doesnt come up, now in my A+ cert class i was pretty much told not to open these as theyre a danger due to stored electricity...is this somethingsomeone can fix or am i up the creek on this one?
I'd rather be driving a titelist

A monitor dude can look at it and sum it up pretty quickly usually. Monitors are famous for getting "cold" solder joints etc.
Then again, I had a 15 that obviously had a bad solder joint cuz it was the classic "slap it and it goes away" deal...me, being an ex USAF Radio tech...opened it up, remelted/flowed all the solder joints I could get too....then it wouldnt come on at all!!
SO.....good luck, lol.

I hope there is a time delay. I'd hate my deer rifle to go off in my trunk after the deer snuck back in to the brush...
