LCD display- Acer?
so here it is - Cmoskill took out my drivers awhile back and ever since I have been pluggin in a CRT display to get the machine up - problem is that I really would like to fix this little problem - It was a 640x480 16 hd display before all this - so that is where I want to get back to -
specs - win95b - p120 - 800meg drive - driver says it is a chips&t 65545/546 - pci(new)
bios says it is a c&t 65540/545 vga
so the question is does it think it has a better video card and therefore not hitting the laptop with the right stuff -
The screen is very bright - and since the accident - I cannot see the screen characters - if your look from the side at an angle - you can faintly make out the windoz stuff but not quite enough to do anything-
I put in a test hardware config and am using it to do the work -
Am I in need of a better video driver - or look for the old one? All this started the day it got nailed with the virus so I figure that has a major thing to do with it.
