Hey Evil: I tried installing the drivers, but it said that it didn't recognize any NVIDA chip on my computer. Any ideas how to get this thing to recognize the card? Thanks |

If the card is already installed, just d/l and install the drivers from the link provided.
When you're in 'Device Mangler', do you see anything w/ a yellow excalmation point? That is probably your MX400.
After the drivers are installed it should reboot, let us know if it shows in 'Device Mangler' after that. |

Hey. It wouldn't let me install the drivers because it said that it couldn't find the card in my machine. Any suggestions on how to get the computer to recognize the damn card? (It's in there now, but not being recognized) Should I pull it out? |

I don't think it would work, you will have to live with your integrated video card. I have one too and I cant use another video card beside that one.

Unfortunately for you, is is true. If it's not being recognized in 'Device Mangler' at all, then you're not going to be able to install it. I was kinda hoping you just weren't seeing it under Display device but it was there as an Unknown device.

I was just going to see if I could find the particulars on the mobo. Maybe there is a jumber that will disable the onboard video allowing you to use the PCI card. Being a P3, that should be the case, if not . . . then *cough*GATEWAY REALLY SUX*cough* |

That would be great. How would you be able to find out if there is such a jumper? |
