3d mark 2001 se
hi all i've got a
radeon 9600 with 256MB DDR (not pro)
athlon 2400 (2000MHz @ 2100MHz)
768MB DDR
4xAGP Mobo
my result in 3d mark 2001 se was : 6557
is that too little ? ... or am i wrong ??

Yeah, that is low. You should get close to 10k. Did you run it at defaults? Do you have the latest drivers?

My brother has about the same set up:
Athlon XP2500+
Gigabyte KT600 K7 Triton 400 FSB Motherboard
Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB
256MB DDR333
8x AGP
It took him awhile, but he scored 10,500 2K1 and 3000 2K3.
Did you overclock your card? Have you tried what tony_j15 suggested?

Thats definatly low. My guess is that you had either AA or AF on in the display properties. Turn those off, including vsync, run the default benchmark and you should be right around the 10k mark.

Remember guys, he has the 9600np which has it's memory and core clocks set at about 3/4 of that of the pro version. IMO you are a little bit low, but not very. I'd suggest around 7-8k is quite good.

You are correct Eladijaz, I didn't see the "NP". I was assuming he had the Pro version....

Ahhh, good catch... That would definatly have an impact on the scores.
