Hey how do i change my name to something else, so that i can't be identify as a women or man. If i go to my profile what do i do?

it matters to me. when i join the forum i had no idea that my orignal name was the one posted

A) Bribe the Admin to change your name (if that's even possible)
B) Sign in as someone new and bribe the Admin to up your post count
C) Sign in as someone new and have 0 posts

whenever you are in a forum like this, or anything that when you sign up, it asks for a username, the username is your nickname

I'm sure the mods will let you know that changing your name is not suggested.

The problem is it hurts the integrity of the forum

You'll get a lot of posts where it says blahblahblah miriam... but if you change your name nobody will have a clue who its referring to.

Best bet would be either start all over or Warts option B

Talk to an admin, like RobRich, (PM or email him) and see if you can work out something mutually agreeable.

I can understand girls not wanting to be identified as female here - especially with some of the girl-hungry guys that drool around here.

Hate to lose someone from the forum because they were tired of being harrassed or picked on as a girl.

No there will be no harassment of women on the board. If you are harassed you should report them to a mod.

Let me know. I'm a female, and a crabby one at that!

Mick, Moderators with administrative privileges are shown in bold italics in the who's on line section. I mention this because RobRich is very busy working on his end of the boards, and many issues can be taken care of by any of the mods that have their name in italics.

If you want to change your user name you will loose your post count but you will be annonomynous....
If you changed your user name on your old account everyone would still know it is you.
