    Martha Stewart; Off the hook.

Just got a 'Breaking News' e-mail from CNN that says, "Judge dismisses charges against Martha Stewart."

    Opinions?

    Thoughts?

I think that money is directly related to justice.
In other words, if you can afford the lawyer(s) then you get off.

Thats just to the charge of fraud...

NEW YORK — In a huge victory for Martha Stewart (search), a federal judge Friday threw out the most serious charge against in her case, securities fraud, just before her trial goes to a jury.

The charge accused Stewart of deceiving investors in her company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSO), by lying about her sale of ImClone Systems (IMCL) stock.

U.S. District Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum left intact four other charges against the celebrity homemaker -- conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and two counts of lying to investigators.

Well they shut up her friend right quick. One day she was spouting off that Stewart said all this stuff.. the next day "She was wrong"... wonder how much that cost.

Money and jailtime are definately indirectly proportional

Does that carry any jail time?

Might open her up to some people wanting to sue her. Wouldn't that be more of an internal thing in that compay?

'Good Morning,' to you too, Bill.

I think her character has been shown for what it is....she's also lost tons of money...some interesting ironies or maybe "justice" in all this....HER stock has plummeted, lol...and irony of all...if I understand correctly..the IMClone stock she dumped...because her inside info told her the certain drug was going to be turned down by the FDA...that certain drug was actually APPROVED by the FDA....lol..so she did the little dumpola for nothing...hehe.
