| My home stereo...back in "the day"...
I stumbled across some photos of old skool stereo equipment
so I decided to see if I could find photos of all the components
of the system I used own, back in the day.
This equipment is long gone. It was an innocent victim of one
of the great roommate battles that have occurred during my
life. But it rocked hard for 10+ years. |

16.25" woofer. That's pretty impressive. Depend on Technics to make something odd. Not that they were the only ones. |

I had more of a pro system setup out at the shop building at the farm were we had parties almost every weekend all through high school. I spent more on my system by the age of 18 then most people spend on a new car. Which at the time I drove a 64' Ford truck and worked all summer haying and all school year/winter washing dishes to pay for my system. I ended up selling it all to buy a new truck when I was 20 years old.
2- carvin RL118's 18" woofers
2- Altec lancing concert towers with (6-8" mid's & 4 horn tweeters per tower)
1- carver PM600 to run the carvins
1- carver PM350 to power the Altec's
1- Altec mixer board
1- pioneer turner
1- technics turntable
1- kenwood dual cassette player
and right before I gave it all up I added my first JVC CD player that cost me over $300 |
