I am encouraged by Kerry's statements that he's not going to stop attacking. Pundits say the public will get fed up with negative campaigning. I don't care if they do. They can stay home in November. Kerry can not afford to make the mistake Gore did, which was to soften his stance because of some pollster's advice. Bush will not stop attacking, I guarantee that. He'll wrap himself in the flag every chance he gets, and if he doesn't get a chance, he'll create one. |

Politics is dirty...dog eat dog business... what happened September 11th belongs to all Americans, whether or not friends or kin were there.
This not unlike "remember the Alamo"...or, "Remember Pearl Harbour"... Its a rallying cry for Gods sake.
Americans tend to forget quickly and too easily...get on with life etc.
Lets just see how many scream bloody murder when it happens again....here!
Personally, I am not crazy about Bush's politics...and he, like the rest will stretch the truth...but I gotta tell you, I like his way of trying to do something...anything, other than throwing spitballs like his predecessors have.

| Let's not blur the lines between stretching the truth and outright lying. |

Do you seriously believe that any other president wouldn't have taken action? The difference is that another president would have stepped up the resources in Afghanistan so the Taliban could not return, unlike today, where they are returning.

I guess his campaign is like Limbo...How low can you go.
| I guess as low as Ms. Heinz-Kerry funding a group to quickly orginize a small group of 9/11 families to throw rehearsed rhetoric into the overwhelmingly left leaning media, and the absolute gall to speak for ALL 9/11 families. Sometimes we must look past the media report to find the REAL agenda here. Quote:

| That's it MTA....keep up the liberal propaganda no matter what anyone say's to disprove it. At least we are consistant.

P.S. BTW- FDR campained from the grounds of a military base in CA. stateing that it was not prudent to take his focus away from the military actions at hand. Also used Pearl Harbor in his campaign. Mabey Bush should land on another carrier to kick off his campaign.

Talk about liars...I would rather believe the corner newspaper guy than most of the liberal press. I do agree however that I sat-up and took serious notice when we invaded Iraq and the terrorists threats had not been fully resolved in Afghanistan... I never said Bush isn't perfect, and I prefer the term "stretching the truth" to lying, when I personally..cannot vouch for the integrity of my own words. I have 'lost face' too many times in my youth to go that route again. I have received unsubstantiated e-mails, very derogatory of Ms. Kerry...which may be true, but so far I have been unable to place any fact to them...thank you.
I realize that what I say and how I speak up for Bush sounds like I may be a big-time Bush supporter...nothing could be further from the truth. My policy is to support whoever is in the drivers seat and leading...because he/she is doing so much more than I am capable of..and unless they can be charged with perjury and make it stick, I will support them as well as I can under the circumstances. I realize all too well that a house (or nation) divided cannot stand. |

He has to take the controls to land on his first one yet. He was just a passenger. To believe any thing else is proof positive you have never landed on an aircraft carrier. That is undoubtably the single most scary thing in the world. |
