I think the Panthers will sneak in on a wild-card.

Although I would love to see a keystone klash between Phila and Pittsbugh. I gotta say that the Rams will beat Phila and then lose to the Steelers.

Steelers have the #1 defense in football during the regular season. You don't do that for no reason. They are heads and shoulders above the Patriots. Steelers will most likely have Bettis back. Kordell had an MVP calibre season. The Pats, on the other hand, start a QB in his first ever road playoff game. He is going to get clobbered. I doubt the Pats can score more than 14 points on the Steelers. In fact I say 13, because they get two field goals instead of the second touchdown. The Steelers will roll, 31-13.
Rams are a powerhouse. Eagles are the only defense that can and has contained them this season. They have 3 starting quality CBs and one of the best blitzing defenses. When they played the Rams earlier this year, they hit Warner and limited his opportunities. However, the Rams have a good enough defense to limit McNabbs passing yards, and Deuce Staley is not as good as he was before his injury. McNabb would have to run for 2 touchdowns himself for the Eagles to win. Rams 17, Eagles 13.
SB -- Even though Pittsburg has a great defense, their cornerbacks bite on fakes and Warner will have a big day. Rams win it all! |

We will soon see if the Steelers are the superteam that everyone seems to think they are!
I don't really think they are!
Of course I may have to eat these words tomorrow! But I don't think so!

Yep - Eagles ... ya gotta believe.
I think the Steelers should beat New England, but then I thought Oakland would too. memo to Jeff Lurie (owner)... want world class receiver next year.

The Rams are an awesome team. They have all sorts of ways to beat you. A good all-around defense, A killer running game, and a great quarterback with great receivers. But I make it a policy to root for underdogs so I gotta go with Philly. Plus you have to love how McNabb has so much fun playing the game. He's always smiling during the game. I remember one scene from a game this year. The defense was going to blitz. The linebackers came to the line and McNabb looked straight at them and started grinning from ear to ear. You gotta love that.
As for the Pats, I just can't shake the feeling that this is a fluke. If they get to the Super Bowl I believe that they will be run over by whichever team they play against. The Steelers however will be just the opposite. I think a Philly Stealers game would be an awesome game to watch. I don't know about you but I'm tired of blowout Superbowls. |
