Because I can take the MCAS. for you who dont know what that is, its the biggest waste of time in every mass. high schoolers career, means absolutly nothing to any college, and takes money away from the schools. (gotta pay those english techers $22/hour to read abuot harry potter)

I also believe that the MCAS were insanely silly. I don't even remember if I took it. |

And for a second there I was going to congratulate Blaze on having something to look forward to for once
Cheer up my sultry friend
Although I do agree, they have something similar here, or at least did. Couldn't graduate unless you passed the test, but it made no impact otherwise, and it was mandatory....like the PSAT, which at least prepared you for something. |

Don't worry, we have those out here in Colorado too! ALthough as of yet we aren't required to pass them to graduate. They started out here when I was in the 3rd grade. First time it was ever given. They told us then that in the 3rd grade would be the only time in our time in schools to take it. HA. Took it every year after that until the 11th grade. Poor 11th graders had to take it from 3rd thru 12. Next years class or the class of 2006 will be required to pass it to graduate. Im so glad I got out now instead of the next few years. |
