... and it should be "due to excessive corrosion".
"Power Plant" should almost certainly be two words, not one, unless your certificate says otherwise.
I would hyphenate "above-average hand-to-eye" and "tear-down" as I've indicated. "Safety-conscious" is also preferable.
It should be either "Associate's Degree" or "Associate Degree", but not "Associates Degree."
And is there any chance of a recommendation from a supervisor at L-3 Integrated Systems, or from a teacher at Hallmark?
You have a ham license; do you have a hobby in radio, or was that just a requirement for something? Either way, you might be able to make some point with it.

I am not very good with structure but have interviewed my share of applicants. I am not crazy about your summary, especially the part of identifying your limitations. Highlight your strong points and show no weak points. This still needs work but something like this
Also try to reduce your resume to one page. If I was reading your resume, I would not want to shuffle through multiple pages.Experience in family owned automotive repair business provided a strong mechanical background which developed a good foundation and focus toward my chosen aviation maintenance career path. Exceptional attributes include listening, following instructions, and above average hand to eye coordination skills. Highly motivated and ready to do whatever it takes to become proficient. Safety conscious with good interpersonal skills. Open to travel and can easily adjust to often changing work priorities.
I am sure others can do much better than me. Good luck.

Sam, you have a lot of experience for a young man. In a resume, you don't tell them EVERYTHING. You tell them just enough to make them want to talk to you! Your format is rough.
Going to school and working shows someone who can do a lot of tasks. I've rearranged your skills list so that they can see you have things they want: Cerification, SAFTETY, experience, record keeping, and ability to work where they need you! A lot of people can't travel or relocate!
Don't sell your experience in the family garage short. If you even changed oil, lubricants, or a fan belt as a child it's a major accomplishment. A bit illegal under child labor. But amazing. If you blew the job, your father would be into big bucks to straighten it out! So if he trusted you...Tell them that you did, besides learning power tools, etc.
Besides, you have experience in major repair. It is no crime to tell a new employer you are looking for better opportunity than your present company can offer.
Remember: The hardest person to find is someone that is pleasant to work around. A good personality will take you further than good work skills. But put them both together and you will go far!

I case I wasn't clear, I actually reworked your resume. It looks sharp. E-mail me if you want it.
Also, for all, you put your work experience with the latest first!

You want to give them everything that is RELEVANT to why they want to hire you! You don't want to sound "OVER QUALIFIED." But you do want to sound like someone they can depend on and maybe become a supervisor!

you can google AV Music Morpher Gold from Audio4fun, it allows you to cut, paste, mix songs and add other effects as well! A cool software that I'm using at the moment! Hope it helps!
