I've been singing for a couple of years now. Mostly choir, but I've dabbled in show tunes and barbershop quartet....And I've been playing the bagpipes for nearly twelve years.

I play guitar, sing, bass, and own a set of drums that I Like to make noise on
Also a small makedo studio which is need of some serious use and some paint.I've been playing for over 30 years,so nailing down one or two influences is impossible.

I think you take a piece of everything you ever learn and weave it all together to make your style.

I like SRV,Kenny Wayne Shepard,Skidrow,Satriani,Vai,Nickelback,Van Halen,and MOst of the 80's hairbands.

Wow! A wide range of instruments and styles

I play bass and have been playing for 26 years now. I have to agree with you brainchild, you pick up influences everywhere. I suppose that wasn't quite the best question. Maybe who you admire musically would be better?

I like to play anything. Jazz, funk, metal, rock, blues, disco... As for the 80's music, I am forming a band now that is an 80's band called Sculpt The Mullet

sm800, that sounds really cool! My neighbors years ago had a barber shop quartet! The more I look back at the replies, the more I'm impressed with the range of talent. I couldn't play a woodwind instrument if my life depended on it. And as for singing, I actually embarassed myself singing, alone, in my car........

I play guitar, some bass, and also some drums once in a while.

Some of my stuff is available online. But you'll have to find the link yourself. I've posted it so much that it probably counts as spam...
