Man that sucks. I've seen it first hand and so much with these young girls on TV and or Screen. I know a girl who is 17 and weighs 105lbs and thinks that is to MUCH. She is gorgeous but she thinks she is to FAT. I've tried to talk to her about her body weight but it does no good. She simply doesn't eat much at all. To add on to that she has Thyroid problems which causes weight issues also. He metabolism is faster than normal along with her heart rate which is usually around 117 beats per minute.

Anyway, it's a shame to see Mary-Kate going through this as she was very pretty. When I heard about this it brought back the whole problem the girl on the TV show Growing Pains went through. She became so skinny she looked like a skeleton. It was very sad.

pressure on women on TV is atrocious

while she may not have any financial problems, I can't even imagine the stress producers and managers put on them to look perfect 100% of the time

Anyhow... the sad commentary is that this is news.

Furthermore, rumor is it is cocaine rather than an eating disorder. Either way, I won't lose any sleep.

But yeah, they are pretty, I didn't notice that she had a disorder until I saw some magazine on the newstands. I was underweight myself, a result of a starvation diet that I may have to resume again......but that's another topic.

Please don't put eating disorder in quotes like or otherwise belittle people with eating disorders. My girlfriend had one connected to both depression and the fact that her mother constantly told her she was fat (even though she barely topped 100 pounds).

Eating disorders are as much a real disease as alcoholism.
