While i was crusing around the PETA website since i hate them so much i found the most ridiclious article aimed at kids. And the bottom part is the biggest load of crap considering that a goldfish's memory last for approximately 3 seconds...bored? No. PETA...oy
"Think that keeping fish in tanks is a good idea? Or that a goldfish would be a great companion for you? Come on, it’s not like a goldfish is going to hop out of the tank and snuggle with you at night like a cat or dog would. Maybe you think that they’re the perfect “prize” for summer fairs and carnivals? Think again! Fish don’t want to be cooped up in a tiny tank—they want to be free to swim the pond or great blue sea, as the case may be. And besides, animals are not prizes: They’re living beings who shouldn’t be given to someone just because he or she was able toss a ring around a bottle.
Just think how boring it would be if you were stuck swimming in circles all day, every day, for your entire life?! Snoresville! Fish deserve to be free to go wherever their little hearts desire. Haven’t you learned anything from Finding Nemo? Check out the latest issue of Grrr! to learn more about why fish shouldn’t be stuck in a tank." |

I saved every one of my fish's lives. I bought a 20 gallon tank, and being the lazy sob that I am I bought 10 feeder goldfish. They are now about 4-6 inches long, way too fat, and way too lazy. If I hadn't have put them in the tank, they would have been eaten by something. I think my fish prefer the tank. |

OMG that PETA site makes me sick. Fortunately, that burger I just ate made it all better. |

I like eating the flesh of dead animals in front of PETA members.

Yeah, I'm sure all those fish that would have been eaten by predators in the wild sure are hateful that they are stuck living a posh life of luxury by not having to hunt down their own food daily, live in clean water with their own little bubbling diving guy and box 'O gold. |
