Oh that commentary from Davis might have been good if she put together some rational, researched thoughts. Instead she just writes that Bush doesn't love us, which naturally means Kerry does. She bases her "argument" on her inability to comprehend the situation that we are in. That's understandable, she appears to be much better at feeling than at thinking.

Gee: I thought "feeling rather than thinking" was supposed to be Bush's strong suit.

Where are you going with that Theo? Seems more like a cheap, baseless shot at Bush than anything else.

Well, it could be, but it's not. Practically everyone agrees that Bush doesn't read much, that he's not a deep thinker, that he relies on his advisers to process the data and come up with the options for him. What they do praise him for is his decency, his values, his faith, his good instincts, and his overall nice-guyness. Mind you, I don't accept any of those as real, but his supporters do. They're criticizing Patti Davis for the same things they're praising Bush for.
