So, it's my dearest friend's birthday today

She goes to school WAY across the country, in Pennsylvania.

Anyhow, I was going to get her a bunch of stuff, books, movies, lifetime pass to the zoo and membership at her closest museum.

But then I found out her favorite thing, her bicycle, got stolen a few weeks back. It's the best way for her to get around because parking on campus is expensive and hard to find at best, and it takes too long to walk.

So I called her local bike shop and bought her a gift certificate for a new ride.

I just got off the phone with her, told her the address and to tell the shop's manager her name when she gets there.

I'm SO excited right now.
