Anyone catch Barack Obama's speech at the DNC?

This is one Democrat I hope I get a chance to vote for soon. Positive attitude. Non-partisan. Focused on issues. Not at all like a typical Democratic politician. Very inspirational speaker. He’s only 42. He'll likely win a Senate seat in a landslide. This guy is going to be a political powerhouse in the near future.

I have been watching his interviews for the past few weeks. It is refreshing to see a Democrat who is not a fringe nut. That being said it is too soon to tell, when he is elected we'll see how he does in the Senate.

I've heard he's very liberal. Great speaker, though. I didn't see him look down once at any notes. Everything he said sounded good, but it's another thing to do it; as is the case with all poiliticians.

At this point he can't help but win. He's running unopposed (so far).

They don't use notes. They have teleprompters and he looked at his plenty of times. That said, I agree, he's a good speaker. Not as good as Bubba, but not bad.

I saw Howard Dean look down at them many times. I suppose they didn't have "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh" written in.

I was really impressed with him. He came off like a Republican! I wonder if he is as liberal as people say and he was putting on the centrist act for the convention?

Definately a rising star in the Democratic party. If he was a Republican in Illinois, he would have no chance to win, so maybe he's probably a closet Republican.
Obama: The rich have the Federal Reserve and the poor have Harry Reid... LOL. Life really is unfair!

    NPR labeled him a centrist.
Noted. He falls between Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy
