    Unhappy Jeans/Trousers Problem

I have a question that I haven't been able to find any answers in the last few years...

In terms of jeans/trousers (jeans mostly, cos I don't wear trousers that often), I end up getting a worn patch where my inner legs has been rubbing together (upper thigh region)...

This baffles me in terms of why it happens (I guess that I can speculate in terms of this, since I have relatively stocky legs from playing rugby in the past)... I guess that I know the cause, but I have no idea what to do about it...

After a few weeks, the worn patch becomes a hole... The problem is that I can't patch it, since it is near the groin area, and it would look absurd with a patch there... And I can't go walking around with a hole there either...

I was just wondering if anyone else has the same problem?
Would it be better if I wore trousers?
Is there a more inconspicuous way of patching it?
Are there jeans/trousers that are "re-inforced" in that area?
Am I wearing jeans that are too small or too big for me that would attribute to this?

I would very much appreciate if anyone can answer me on this, since I don't really know who to turn to...

    Thanks in advance!!!

My advice would be to move to Texas and become a cowboy. After riding a horse for a few years your inner thighs will not be even close to one another.

but other than that I'm no help

WHOA....you must have some tough skin dude...I usually get a gnarly rashy harsness on my inner thighs way before the pants rip!
If you got a hole in your pants...patch it who gives what it looks like

i have the same problem. I have pretty big thighs from snowboarding, and my pants always seem to wear out in between my legs? Know what i would like to see, is someone putting the same pattern of stitching into street jeans as they do to karate pants, with the "reservior" kinda patch that allows for extra expansion between the legs. And then make that out of steel wool.

Maybe wear looser jeans? Ride a motorcycle/horse, that will fix it as Cyclone said.

Better idea - install two small lightning rods on each side of your inner pant leg. Whenever your legs come close enough together, the electricity will jump and shock you. It's a training method, basically, you'll learn after awhile.
