So, being a moderator is just another excuse to sit in front of a comptuer all day and chat with people?

By they way..........what is the deal with this IRC thingy. Is it like IM, or is it IM? I keep considering going back to chatting but i hate all the stupid people and advertisements. Is there an IRC client.

I know i am changing the subject of the thread, but i am allowed to since i started it right?

blue its just like any chat room

the most popular way of accessing it is by a client called MIRC. we did have a way to access it from a webpage but our provider told scott to take it down or something

Hmmm...you've got a little ways to go GZ

first of all that avatar has to go. Personally i'm a fan of trigun and so seeing your avatar causes feelings of comradery. Now if you were to change it to something like, say, a picture of a baby seal getting clubbed or a bunch of cute puppies about to be eaten by a bear, then you would really start to be hated

GZ, i saw that mIRC thing while searching for the meaning of life using google, but it looks like you have to pay for it in the long run. Maybe i am wrong but i saw a few key words like registration and trial period that turned me away from that.

Thanks for the heads up though.

you dont have to pay for it blu, there are other free solutions too. bitchx you can use for windows i believe, xchat and others.
