Yep another example of a Mom trying to have someone controlled so she doesn't have to control her kid...

It is a sad day when a mother tries to make the world revolve around her and her son simply because she cannot control her child.

not a new thing, i remember crap like this happening for as long as i can remember. (im only 18, but you know) I remember when i was really little, there was a big crusade to ban my favorite show of the time, the "Power Rangers", man i loved that show!!! Apparantly it was causing alot of kids to get kicked in the head by other little kids, so instead of just keeping their kids from watching the show, or as i like to call it "Parenting", they go on a huge ramage to shut down the series. Sheesh.

I signed the petition to take that site down........not like itll matter.
I dug the power rangers when I was young too, then they kept trying to change it up, I stopped watching it after they were the "ninja rangers" or something....Last I saw the power rangers were firemen or something.

go read some of the petitions, not a serious one among them after awhile.

go back and read maddox post about that petition. For some reason the original died or something breiflyso he started a new one with him signing the first petition with the post "Protect your children from me. Sign this petition."
I won't link to the original article cause it's not exactly PC for this forum, but it's about websense originally and is very very entertaining if you're a fan of maddox.

I think the original died because so many people linked to it from maddox, the same with the whole anti-maddox page, all maddox's fans went there and overloaded the bandwidth.

Of course there is the possibility that there never was a mam, and maddox started the entire thing himself.

This year my school started using websense...
So i know exactly what it feels like to be denied

People are so dumb with these petitions. Just controll your kid and it wont be a problem. Love maddox's site personally. The sig's are funny as h*ll though.
"1743. Ray Finkle - It's Maddox's fault the laces weren't out"

September 13th, 2004, 08:09 PM #18Hehehe, yep! of course reading maddox fairly regularly and knowing that he's done that before doesn't help eitherBased on what in particular? Can't you find a way to give him a chance? NOBODY could do more damage than Bush has done.

but that page is pretty funny.... what a bunch of uptight ******* lol.
I guess I can see the concern, but if they were smart they could just add the website to the hosts file on their family computer so it blocks it.

I remember I put some of his work in my AIM profile and my mom saw it. She got really mad and I got grounded for a couple weeks from the internet.
I still visit the site though cause my mom is computer unintelligent and the site is frekaing hilarious!
I think MAM was actually made by Maddox when he found out his site was getting blocked. He hasn't updated his site in a while since this and that webpage probably would have taken a while to design. The MAM site is really well designed and the fact that he mirrors the whole site is some proof too. Anyhow it's still funny.Last edited by Rand Dusing; September 13th, 2004 at 10:38 PM.
