Wonder if those who had trouble accessing TIMO are still having it?
| Our loading is a little light this morning, so I would suspect there may still be some access problems somewhere along the pipeline. We normally average about 800-900 active users this time of day, yet I am showing under 500 right now. |

A couple of traceroutes we did at XPC for some who couldn't get it pointed the finger at ATT. Not conclusive, but it was suggestive.
Cheers

I can access TechIMO from work, but I just called my wife and had her try to access it from home and it's still not "available" from there.
Ah well... one of the cleaning people somewhere between here and there probably unplugged the router so they could plug in the vacuum... somebody will notice it one of these days!

More than one router has been unplugged by the cleaning lady, I would say.
Might even be Ivan that is somewhat responsible, in some way.
Cheers

Oh, the traces we ran has TIMO and RR in Dallas, Texas, now, not in Pittsburgh anymore. My mistake, there: thought they were still at the Pair.com datacentre.
Can you confirm if both databases are housed in the same or different servers there, Rob?
Thanks

Your traces are showing only our front-end HTTP servers, not the database servers.
Last I knew (I do not keep up with the development staff), TIMO and RR are on two physically independent server grids. RR is hard to track down, as it is comprised of multiple redundant and load balancing servers. |

I'm having problems with TIMO at this moment and the past day...maybe two days? Anyway I've included a screenie of the problems, when the "reply" finally comes up, it's just plain blue text, like the rest you see. Also, when writing a reply, well, I'll include a screen of that too.
Just to note, uploading the attachments was very quick, no delay at all. |

uethello, you've been having similar probs to what others have reported from what I've seen, but you can access TIMO fine from the same place now, can you?
Cheers

I was going to edit my other message but..the..edit..button..won't..
Anyway, my actual problem is that the site is *very* slow to load, buttons and such in particular.
edit> site is different with IE, quote and reply buttons load up immediately and normally. edit button takes a couple seconds.
