absentee ballot

I just got mine and voted.
Who else here has recieved a ballot or is waiting on one?

Forget the absentee ballot. It's one of the easiest ways for voter fraud to occur (besides Wisconsin's lack of a requirement to pre-register to vote). Absentee ballots should only be available to those in the military, invalids and people like college students who go to school out of state. I do not like that absentee ballots offer no protection from outside influence on one's vote. I can go to a local nursing home and fill out the ballot for anyone there and have them sign it if I want. I should have no knowledge of or influence over anyone's vote. That's why nobody's allowed in the booth with me or vice versa. There's so much voter fraud going on out there, it's just sickening.

I am not out of state but I am 5 hours away from home where I would vote, so I needed one. According to my ballot, there needs to be a witness to see that it is you and not someone else who is voting on it. I filled it out privately and had my friend sign it when I sealed the envelope. You are right how there can be some great fraud and influence. That's why you fill it out, seal it and then have someone sign it. It is not their concern or their buisness who you are voting for
