How would one go about legally obtaining a handgun? I mean I want to be licesed to own a handgun. And what about carrying it...IE "concealed", would that also require a seperate license?

I know that you have to have a special permit to carry a concealed weapon and you have to get this by explaining to the people in charge of it all why you would need to do this and you would also need to take some safety classes and stuff too. Getting a gun is not hard, it just takes a while and you have to pay quite a pretty penny sometimes.

Filipino, why NOT? For protection. Because I can legally own one. So I can go to a shooting range and have some fun.

Go to " State of California" web site, and , if like Mississippi, Highway Safety Patrol,
for requiremnets and regulations for a CCW permit. I've had mine for about seven years now, and don't leave home without it. !!!
