It may be a cartoon - But Initial D is amazing! It's extremely addicting, and draws you into the series more than The Sopranos or 24 can. You'd have to see it to believe me. Love every minute of it. Actually, Initial D is an Anime, not a cartoon. A lot of people love it, but I never got into it. I like anime with a story.

I like anime that is either overly violent with a well developed plot or absurdly funny with almost no plot.
Biz, have you seen works like Golgo 13, Kite, or Wicked City?
Anyway, to be perfectly honest, I would rather watch older comedy classics like Tenchi Muyo or Dirty Pair Flash than most of the new works being rushed to market. | |

I've scene the directors uncut version of Kite. Infact I watached it the other day again because I just like the bathroom fight scene. Do they really make bullets like that?
I also prefer a lot of the older stuff than the newer stuff. But there are a lot of new stuff that give the classics a run for their money.
My all time favorite comedy animes are a tie between Great Teacher Onizuka(GTO) and You're Under Arrest. | |

anything that isnt real life to me is a cartoon... but yes some are fairly well made.... ill give em that.

Kind of like Mezza DSA. There's the NC-17 version, and the PG-13 TV series.
