| if 90% believe it...can the braindead still say "conspiracy theory"? http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/anderson.cooper.360/ poll on left
Do you believe there is a U.S. government cover-up surrounding 9/11?
Yes 90% 8604 votes
No 10% 932 votes
so 90% of CNN internet users are conspiracy theorists??
90%???
(remember that internet users are usually going to be way more informed than non internet users)
I feel good to be part of the 90% as opposed to the "fringe" element

That poll doesn't even have 10,000 votes... That's smaller than the size of my town.
I don't how you can come to a conclusion with only 9,536 votes. |

Of course there was a cover-up...but I don't think they're saying *your* kind of cover-up. I think when people say cover-up, they mean 'Well the government is trying to hide the fact they royaly ****ed up here.'. Last time something this damaging happened, it was 1961 in a little town called Dallas. The exact same freaking conspiracy theory deal happened.
Of course I could be wrong*.

Depends on each person's definition of conspiracy. If it is "I think the gov. is not publicizing on how it actually trained them(both terrorists who crashed plane into WTC studied in an American univresity I think) I would have to say yes. The government is looking over the fact that even Sadaam Hussein studied in an American Universtiy (again, I beliveve). But the theory that the government wanted/expected 9/11 to happen is as false as the statement that the moon is made of cheese.

I dotn think they govt has tried to cover anything up as far as them saying "we screwed up"
quite the opposite most people involved have gotten bonuses and increased budgets...
who got fired???????
the fact is that 911 was an inside job....people didnt see it at first because it is natural to be trusting...but after a while the sentiment wears off and people start to ask questions about BLARING issues
such as the some of the "hijackers" being trained at CIA flight schools...some of the "hijackers" listing Pensacola naval airbase as the PLACE OF RESIDENCE etc etc
plus I think the disillusionment with the Iraq War and the Bush administration in general has taken away the "fog" from some people.....
A while back the Zogby poll showed 49% of New Yorkers believe the govt had prior knowledge and FAILED to act
I dont see this staying covered up like JFK was...too much info out there already....
they better pull of their next little "event" and go to martial law before they are totally busted on 911

JP,
there is definitely a coverup. People trying to cover up their involvement and people trying to save good people from being dragged through the mud and scapegoated on stupid understandable mistakes. |
