They are killing Futurama!!! FUTURAMA CANCELLED!!! Gahhhhhhh what is wrong with them, its the only show worth watching anymore even if they make it next to impossible to catch.

Since anything really original or intelligent will always be above the common man, at some point the advertizing revenue will plateau below the level made off popular but totally stupid shows.
This lets the networks know that they are reaching too high in the gene pool, and so they re-trench.
PS: I like Futurama a lot more than the Simpsons, but the viewer base can never be as large, because the concepts, while bolder, are less universal. | |

wow, just saw this after warts thread on tv shows that stink. I'm not a huge futurama fan but it certainly deserves to stick around. Family guy must stay for certain. That show is absolutely hilarious. Both have been on and off the air so much I don't think people even know they're on half the time. That and family guy is up against friends so of course it's not going to do great. Maybe a cable network could pick them up. Comedy central, cartoon network. | |
