What the hell is this world coming to?
I just found out the clerk at my neighborhood Subway, a sweet, young kid who always had a smile and was never too busy to take the time to ask how you were doing (and you just knew she really meant it), was murdered Saturday night during a strong-armed robbery. Two scumbags shot her without giving it a second thought, all for a couple hundred dollars in the register.
Danielle was a kind, gentle person with her entire life ahead of her, working very hard and set to graduate from design school in a few months. I'm not easily shocked, and over the course of my life I've seen a lot of repugnant BS go down, but this has just left me stunned.
Although raised Catholic, I'm not a religious person, but I know she was. I hope those of you who share in Danielle's faith will keep her and her family in your prayers.

Categorically heinous.
I hope they're caught by someone who will treat them more aggressively than the federal justice system ever would.
I'll spare you what else I have to say... I doubt it's forum appropriate.

It's a damned shame. Poor girl
That is no time, place or way to die. I find it hard to believe how anyone could think something like that could be God's will. Things like this are why I favor the death penalty.

In our day to day life, we all have met someone like Danielle. I'm sure this story has the same effect on each and every one of us. It's a terrible shame and a waste of a good person.
Incredible.....

Put them on the chair!
(and don't wet the sponge)Helicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

They'll either spend life in prison in which they can partake in physical fitness, be fed, exchange gossip with other inmates and probably watch some cable TV. Or, they'll get a needle in the warm. Big woop.

In cases like this, I think we need to harshen our punishments. The punishment should fit the crime.
If somebody is convicted of raping another, then the offender should be forcefully sodomized. In cases of murder, there should be no other choice than for the assailant to meet their end... Of course this would be after a legitimate trial and sorts, but at least it would be a step in the right direction. And thus it was spoken by the mighty Uss. And it was so.

January 13th, 2005, 09:40 AM #15That means you'll actually need a job description that does such a thing. Interesting.then the offender should be forcefully sodomized.

WTF? a dude with a decent job living in a 165,000 dollar house decides he needs to take part in murder? I see some serious problems here!
I reccomend medieval torture techniques over a period of 2 weeks. if they're still alive after that, starve 'em to death.Good job, friend-of-friends!

that's terrible... question is..."Why" ? Why would you sink so low to do that to someone... people drive me insane....
May God be with her and her family...
here is a song I recently heard.... from the group "Casting Crowns"
WHAT IF HIS PEOPLE PRAYED
What if the armies of the Lord
Picked up and dusted off their swords
Vowed to set the captives free
And not let satan have one more
What if the church for heaven's sake
Finally stepped up to the plate
Took a stand upon God's promise
And stormed hell's rusty gates
What if His people prayed
And those who bare His name
Would humbly seek His face
And turn from their own way
And what would happen if we prayed
For those raised up to lead the way
Then maybe kids in school could PRAY
And unborn children see light of day
What if the life that we pursue
Came from a hunger for the truth
What if the family turned to Jesus
Stopped asking OPRAH what to do !!
He said that they would hear
His promise has been made
He'll answer loud and clear
If only we would pray
If My people called by My name
If they'll humble themselvesand pray
If My people called by My name
If they'll humble themselves and pray
What if His people prayed....
